Import Outlook Data file Items from Outlook (.pst)
Use Import and Export Wizard option to easily migrate Outlook items like emails, contacts, notes and tasks etc from one system to another or restore backup of Outlook data. To implement Import and Export wizard you have to follow the given below steps:
- Click on File tab in the Outlook menu
- After that select the Open option and Click on it
- Next Click on Import option a new pop up window open
- In Import and Export Wizard, Click on Import from another program or file option and then Click Next
- Click Outlook PST file and then Next
- Select the file you want to import and Click on Browse
Note: If you don't want to import duplicate items that already has been placed in Outlook. Click on Do not import duplicates option.
- Click Next
- If password is assigned to an Outlook file PST, then you prompt to enter password and Click Ok
- Set option to import items, default setting don't need to be changed
- Include Subfolders
- Import Items into current folder
- Import Items into same folder
